The Adelaide Central YHA is a good option, especially if you're an YHA member (if not, you pay 5 A$ extra). It's got big, clean rooms and good facilities. The common areas have a pool table, TV rooms and free movies every night. It's on 135 Waymoth Street and dorm beds are from 20 A$.
