I know of several tour agencies that can take you to Uluru and Kings Canyon, destinations included in two or three day trips around Alice Springs (A$300-400). But there are even 1 day trips if you're in a hurry. Here are some companies: Sahara Outback Tours (www.SaharaTours.com.au), Adventure Tours Australia (www.AdventureTours.com.au) or Mulgas Adventures (www.Mulgas.com.au).
