There are two places where you have free internet access, but both need advance booking: Central City Library, on the lower ground floor of the City Plaza Complex, on 69 Ann St and the State Library of Queensland, at South Bank. Other places are Global Gossip (288 Edward St, 8 am to midnight) and Internet City (Level 4, 132 Albert st, non stop), where you'll pay 4 A$ per hour.
