Where can I go in Cairns to spend a nice, quiet afternoon?(give a different answer) .
I'd go to the Flecker Botanic Gardens, on Collins Ave, Edge Hill. It's a great way to unwind and spend a great day. There's an incredibly wide variety of species here, you can go on a self-guided walking track or opt for an informative tour for 5 A$ at 1 pm Monday to Friday.
