Cairns Tropical Zoo

Posted 11 months ago by avatar dock in response to pedro's question: How's the zoo in Cairns? I haven't seen any koala so far. Could I find one there? (give a different answer) .

If you haven't cuddled a koala yet, the Cairns Tropical Zoo is the place for you. It's on Captain Hook Highway, Clifton Beach and the fee is A$25 per adult. Now, if you're asking me, I'd tell you it's a bit expensive, but if you visit the whole place, at the end you may believe it is worth the money. After all, you'll find kangaroos, wombats and (the regional mascot) crocs!
