Abell's Kopi Tiam, Canberra

Posted 1 year ago by avatar dock in response to avatar ardi's question: searching for a restaurant in Canberra that serves Indonesian food or vegetarian specialties. ideas? (give a different answer) .

By chance I once went in Abell's Kopi Tiam, a restaurant on 7 Furneaux St, Manuka. But I found there a great place to eat. So great, that after that I've changed my opinion about Vegetarian. Now I don't think it's that disgusting or tasteless. Somehow it might taste good... Anyway, the eatery serves excellent Malaysian and Indonesian food, as well as some home-style treats including the zesty My Mum's Laska. Also got to try goreng pisang (that's Malaysian banana fritter). bon apetit!
