There's a cosy restaurant on 9 Tasman House, Marcus Clarke St, called Shalimar. They have excellent Indian food, in large quantities for the right price: 13 to 16 A$ for the mains. It's family run and it's increasingly popular now because it's welcoming as a location and the food has a good quality/price ratio.
