Well, there are many car-rental operators in Darwin, but perhaps the most trustworthy (reliable opinion!) are Advance Car Rentals (on 86 Mitchell St or call 1800 002 227) and Budget (on cnr Daly St & Doctors Gully Rd; 8981 9800). You may save some money by booking in advance and make sure you get enough mileage (Darwin is a big place). Oh... you may also find out the day's best deal at the visitors centre in Mitchell St. good luck!
