The Salamanca Market is the best place for this kind of shopping. It's held outdoors along Salamanca Rd every Saturday morning from 8:30 am to 3 pm. You can buy all sorts of stuff, like hand made items, art items, things that make nice gifts and souvenirs. There's also entertainment from street performers, tasty snacks etc.
