I stayed with my boyfriend at the Olembia Guesthouse, on 96 Barkly St. Single rooms are 50 A$, doubles 78 A$ and they also have dorms, but I don't know the price. The rooms are small, but very comfy and clean. I liked the fact that they have a kitchen and some nice places to sit and read. But you should call some time ahead: 9537 1412.
