I wanna go dancing in Melbourne, but I don't want no house techno music.(give a different answer) .
When I feel like dancing, I go to Night Cat, since I'm not particularly fond of techno music myself. Here you'll listen and dance to soul, blues, funk and jazz. I love the atmosphere there: very lively, but not uptight, and very nice decor (very retro). It's on 141 Johnson St, open from Thursday to Sunday and the admission is 5 A$.
