I once went to Builders Arms, on Gertrude St... don't know what has got into me to visit that place on Thursday. I never thought a gay night could be so lewd and scarry at the same time. So, if you choose to go there on Thursday, beware not to be by alone, unless you want to be hunted by greedy, brawny and bold little men that want to touch your hand and dance a blues just for one time... One blink would be enough to get yourself accosted by somebody, although some of those boys know how to be discreet...
Anyway, you should try Bimbo Deluxe (on 376 Brunswick St). The name will mislead you, 'cause the place it's actually a great spot to eat cheap, yet tasy pizza weekdays and it's open 'till 3am nightly. You can find a jumping pub, with regular live music on 27 St David St, inside the Rainbow Hotel. have fun.
