It's definitely one of the things you must not miss if you're in Perth between September and December, when the humpback whales migrate. There are a couple of companies that can take you to see this: Mills Charters is one. It leaves from Hillary's Boat Harbour and a three hour tour costs 45 A$. Another option is Boat Torque, which leaves from Barrack St Jetty.
