I always go to Belvoir St Theatre. It's my favourite. They usually have original, interesting plays, sometimes avant-garde. Their resident production company, Company B, is truly great and worth the visit. Tickets cost around 27-45 A$ and the theatre is on 25 Belvoir St, Surry Hills.
