Februay? That's the month of the Sidney Gay&Lesbian Mardi Gras (sometimes it's held in early March)... The highlight of this world-famous festival is the colourful parade along Oxford St, culminating with a bacchanalian party at the Fox Entertainment Precinct in Moore Park. Friends of mine told me it's worth a trip there.
