Billabong Sanctuary from Townsville, a wildlife park where animals roam free

Posted 1 year ago by avatar cristina in response to avatar jasmine's question: I heard Townsville has a wildlife park where you can actually touch the animals or feed them. any other information about this? (give a different answer) .

It's true, about 17km south of Townsville there's a famous 10-hectare wildlife park, where you can see animals roaming free. Billabong Sanctuary (on Bruce Hwy) is the place where you can cuddle a koala or a python or even feed a crocodile. I think it's amazing that wild animals have their space to enjoy a little freedom, not like in the zoos from other countries, where you can really see their sad faces, if you look carefully.
